Funeral services for Obie Lee “Bubba” Hundly, 57, of Faceville, Ga., were held Friday, April 15, at Young Memorial Chapel at Bruton Mortuary with the Rev. T.C. Smith officiating.

Mr. Hundly was born Oct. 19, 1953, in Fowlstown, Ga., and died April 13, 2011, at his residence.

He attended Fort Valley State College and graduated with a bachelor of science, then attended the University of Minnesota.

He was employed for many years with the Georgia Forestry Commission. He also worked for the Cargill Company in Gainesville, Ga., for more than 12 years. He was later employed at the Printing House in Quincy, Fla., and most recently as a farm worker.

He was preceded in death by his father, R. Lee Hundly; a sister, Rudean Hundly, and a brother, Bennie Lee Hundly.

Survivors include his mother, Eunice Brown Hundly; three sisters, Virginia, Michelle and Patricia Hundly; two brothers, Johnny and Blane Hundly; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
