Funeral services for Todd Michael Hooper, 45, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Friday, April 22, in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Bell officiating.

Interment followed in Friendship Memorial Gardens with Charles Scott, Ronnie Miller, Johnny Roy Parks, Eric Gay, Jeff Rathel, Trent Pickle, Victor Adams, Michael Harrell and Earl Brock acting as pallbearers.

Mr. Hooper was born Sept. 3, 1965, in Bethesda, Md. He died April 19, 2011, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Fla.

He worked as an electrician at Shaw Industries and served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid supporter of the Seminole County School System sports activities, as well as those of the City of Donalsonville and wrote numerous articles for The Donalsonville News. Todd loved music and had played in various bands.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Hooper.

He is survived by his parents, Vaughn Elden and Rosemary Morgan Hooper; sister-in-law Diane Hooper, all of Donalsonville; aunt, Sue Morgan of Waynesville, N.C.; special nephews, Jon and Sara Hicks West of Atlanta; as well as numerous cousins.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
