Christopher, Norris win fishing titles

Wayne Christpher, of Huntsville, Ala., and Jason Norris, of Ohatchee, Ala., were the angler and co-angler champions of last Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s FLW Outdoors Walmart Regional Bass Fishing League Tournament on Lake Seminole.
Tournament pro Christopher caught 12 bass, weighing 43 pounds, 6 ounces. For the victory he won a Ranger Z518 boat with a 200-horsepower outboard motor, and a Chevy 1500 Silverado.
Co-angler champion Norris caught seven bass, weighing 19 pounds, 10 ounces. He received a Ranger Z518 boat with a 200-horsepower outboard motor.
Finishing second through fifth behind Christopher in the pro angler division were Robert Crosnoe, of Inverness, Fla., with 12 bass, weighing 43 pounds, 2 ounces; Terry Stevens, of Marianna, Fla., with 15 bass, weighing 42 pounds 12 bounces; Brandon Medlock, of Lake Placid, Fla., with 19 bass, weighing 41 pounds, 15 ounces; and Santos Solis, of Vero Beach, Fla., with 12 bass, weighing 39 pounds, 10 ounces.
Rounding out the top 10 anglers were Gil Summerlin, of Guntersville, Ala., Thomas Helton, of Charelston, Tenn., Neil Davis, of Clermont, Fla., Scott Wiley, of Bay Minette, Ala., and Chris Brill, of Lehigh Acres, Fla.
Finishing second through fifth behind Norris in the co-angler division were Shawn Marquis, of Columbus, Ga., with five bass, weighing 19 pounds, 5 ounces; Cody Delweiler, of Orlando, Fla., with six bass, weighing 19 pounds, 4 ounces; Joe Ventrello, of Orlando, Fla., with five bass, weighing 18 pounds; and John Cook, of Scottsdale, Ala., with six bass, weighing 17 pounds, 7 ounces.
Rounding out the top 10 co-anglers were Wayne Haynes, of Ohatchee, Ala., Jeff Williams, of Alexandria, Ala., Javier Diaz of Doral, Fla., Jeff Loach, of Ringold, Ga., and Jody Moore, of Dalton, Ga.
