Miss Bishop to wed Mr. Gibbs

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bishop of Climax, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Alynn Bishop of Whigham to Walter Cecil (Trey) Gibbs III, also of Whigham.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Jowers and the late Gerald N. Boutwell of Climax and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bishop of Whigham.
Miss Bishop is a 2008 honor graduate of Bainbridge High School. She graduated with honors from Bainbridge College, with an associate degree in science and from the Medical College of Georgia in 2012, with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. She is employed with Dr. Gary Elmore, D.M.D., in Cairo, Ga.
The groom-to-be is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Gibbs Jr. of Whigham. He is the grandson of Mrs. Virginia Gibbs and the late Cecil Gibbs Sr. of Whigham, and of Mrs. Bertha Ulmer and the late Carol Ulmer of Attapulgus.
Mr. Gibbs is a 2002 graduate of Brookwood School, in Thomasville, Ga. He graduated in 2006 from Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing. He is the general manager of Three Rivers Produce, Inc., in Bainbridge.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 29, at 5 p.m., at Honey Lake Plantation Church, in Greenville, Fla. The reception will follow in The Gathering Hall at Honey Lake Plantation.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
