Thelda Parker Casselberry, 88, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, in Naples, Fla.

She was born in Climax, on Dec. 4, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Robert Thomas and Daisy Harrell Parker. Married to Calvin G. Casselberry on Feb. 10, 1945, she was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother to her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Thelda was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Daisy Roberta Parker, Francesca Parker Register, Harrell Parker, Ruth Parker Harden, Doris Parker Jansen, Tillie Parker Nichols, Robert Parker III, and Bill Parker.

Survivors include her loving husband of 68 years, Cal; her children, Mark Parker Casselberry, of Greeley, Colo., Roberta Sue Casselberry, of Naples, Lila Lee Luna (Frank), Sacramento, Calif., and Scott Collins Casselberry (Mary Susan), of Naples.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Shawn Schaefer, of Eaton, Colo., Kari Finlayson, of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada, Stacey O’Connor, of Naples, Brian Berlinger, of Chicago, Ill., Heather Berlinger, of New York, N.Y., Matthew Luna, of Sacramento, John Allen Casselberry, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Parker Casselberry, of Naples; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane Parker Singleton, of Camden, S.C., and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Fuller Funeral Home, Naples. Interment was in the Sarasota National Cemetery, in Sarasota, Fla.

Fuller Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
