Services for Virginia “Jenny” Riffle, 80, of Bainbridge, were held on Monday, March 25, 2013, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, in Cairo, Ga., with Brother Stan Webb officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, in Cairo. Active pallbearers were her grandson, Matthew Cox, Nick Frazier, Casey Parrish, Chris Riffle, Tony Egan and Joey Egan.

Mrs. Riffle was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Mabscott, W.Va., to the late Charles Andy McCutcheon and Gladys Vearl Ashcraft McCutcheon. She passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013, at Huntington Place Center in Rockledge, Fla.

On April 6, 1950, she married Junior “Shorty” Riffle, who preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bainbridge. She loved her family and grandchildren. She made the best biscuits in all of Decatur County.

Mrs. Riffle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, twin sons, Stevie and Gary Riffle; grandson, Robert Franklin Parrish Jr.; sister Juanita Stover; brothers, Dorsey McCutcheon, Roy McCutcheon and Richard McCutcheon.

Survivors include a son Chuck Riffle (Carol) of Bainbridge; daughters, Patty Egan (Vince) of Rockledge, Fla., Peggy Prater (Ricky) of Colquitt, Ga., Naomi Frazier (Billy Dorr) of Liberty, S.C., Karen Mason of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Chris Riffle of Bainbridge, Tony Egan of Melbourne, Fla., Joey Egan (Leighanna) of Melbourne, Matthew Cox of Colquitt, Tiffany Givens (David) of Bainbridge, Roxxanne Frazier of Pickens, S.C., Nick Frazier of Easley, S.C., Candice Parrish of Bainbridge, Casey Parrish of Bainbridge; great-grandchildren, Raven Jackson of Bainbridge, Drake Jackson of Bainbridge, Roman Jackson of Bainbridge, Jack Egan of Melbourne, Fiona Egan of Melbourne, Izaiah Kipps of Pickens; sister, Janet Sue Shields of Orange, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Clark Funeral Home of Cairo was in charge of the arrangements.
