Charlie and Rhonda Unfricht of Bainbridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Libby Unfricht, to Jake Pittman, the son of Gil and Laura Pittman of Leslie, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lindsay and Frances Gay of Bainbridge, of Arthur and Judy Unfricht of Holiday, Fla., and of Les and Joan Mahlen of Port Charlotte, Fla.

Miss Unfricht is a 2011 graduate of Bainbridge High School and is attending Darton State College, studying to be a paralegal. She is currently employed at Tootsie’s Salon and Gifts in Columbus, Ga.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Don and Margaret Smith of Americus, Ga., of Jerry and Lynn Barry of Perry, Ga., and of Richard and Shirley Pittman of Leslie.

Mr. Pittman graduated from Southland Academy in Americus, in 2008 and from South Georgia Technical College, where he majored in machine technology. He is employed with Precision Components International, in Columbus.

The wedding is planned for June 8, at 4:30 p.m., at Bison Valley Lodge, in Americus, where the reception will follow. Invitations will be sent.
