This Friday, at 5 p.m., the Bainbridge High School Bearcats football team will have a scrimmage at Centennial Field. This event is free to the public, and is expected to last about an hour to an hour and a half.

The more than 100 kids who tried out for the Bearcats have been working hard during the last two weeks, practicing for several hours even after a full day of school and under warm temperatures. Spring practice is never an easy thing, but it’s been even more difficult this year because the Bearcats have had to learn new offensive and defensive schemes from new coach Jeff Littleton’s staff.

These young men have been working hard, and they deserve the community’s support Friday night.
