Lindsey Marie Mann, the daughter of Bill Mann and the late Sheree Mann of Tifton, Ga., is engaged to marry Jonathan Paul Chesser, the son of Bob and Jane Chesser of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bob Coley of Glencoe, Ala., Cleo Coley of Pell City, Ala., and of the late Roy and Mary Mann of Roanoke, Ala.

Miss Mann is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Master of Accountancy degree. She is employed with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Jesse and Roberta Freeman of Havana, Fla., of Gladys Chesser of Flagler Beach, Fla. and of the late Harmon Chesser.

He graduated from Bainbridge High School, and received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Florida A&M University. He is employed by the Birmingham Veterans Administration Medical Center.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 5, at 6 p.m., at Matthews Manor in Springville, Ala., where the reception will follow.
