The Bainbridge City Council will meet Tuesday, August 20 at 6:30 in its chambers at City Hall, 101 S. Broad Street, with the following agenda:

• Recognition of the Bainbridge Leisure Services junior tennis team’s state championship

• Consideration of temporary street closure request—Water Street, from West Street to Broad Street, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on September 5, to accommodate the 2013 Bainbridge High School “Syrup Sop” Pep Rally

• Consideration of Georgia Department of Transporation speed zone ordinance

• Mayoral Appointment—Library Board
