A City of Bainbridge public services employee survived a frightening moment Thursday afternoon. While mowing the right of way off the Highway 84 bypass on ramp off West Louise Street, the tractor and mower operated by Kirk Tindell overturned.

Tindell received only minor injuries in the accident. He was transported to Memorial Hospital with apparent arm and shoulder injuries.

“We are thankful he only has minor injuries,” said Steve Winburn, Bainbridge’s Public Services Director. “Thank goodness has was wearing the seatbelt and thank goodness we have good equipment. The roll bar on thetractor did exactly what is supposed to do.”
