Frances Helen Beiter Young

Frances Helen Beiter Young, the matriarch of the Beiter Family, went home to be with her heavenly Father, peacefully in her sleep at her home in the Springs of Lady Lake,Fla. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the young age of 97.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1207 Randolph Street, Bainbridge, GA. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery.

She was born on March 13, 1917 in Pittsburgh, Penn., the eighth of nine children born to Constantine Karl Beiter and Anna Marie Laibach Beiter. Her father, who was born in Germany, died in the 1918 flu pandemic shortly after her youngest brother was born. Frances and her siblings were raised by their mother and maternal grandmother, Mathilda Brehl Laibach. She was a devote Roman Catholic and graduated from St. Henry School. She was employed by Stouffer’s Restaurant as a dietitian for several years. Frances married Thomas Pierce Young of Alexandria, Penn. on November 27, 1947. They moved to Hialeah, Fla. in 1953 where she raised her family and worked in both the food service industry and in retail. Frances was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Hialeah for over 30 years, loved to play bingo and to bowl, was a member of many bowling leagues, and served for many years as the President of Miami Lakes Seniors. Frances always signed her name Frances “Forever” Young. She was always young at heart and saw the world with a “glass is half-full” attitude. Frances will be missed greatly by her family and many friends.
Survivors include her children, Carol Young Savchuk and her husband, Barry, of Orlando, Fla., Janice Young Johnson and her husband, Vic, of Lady Lake, and Karl Young and his wife, Faye, Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Jennifer Mitchell and her husband, Marcus, Tad Young, Tommy Young, VJ Johnson, Matt Johnson and his wife, Tara; her great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Jaxon, Jake, Ryan, and Samantha; Her sister-in-law, Ruth Beiter; her brother-in-law, Bob Crowell; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Pierce Young; her parents, Constantine Karl Beiter and Anna Marie Laibach Beiter; and her siblings, Herman Beiter, Karl Beiter, Constantine Beiter, and Frank Beiter, Marie Beiter, Hildegard Beiter, Ann Beiter, and Teresa Beiter.
