Roger Franklin Johnson, 61 of Pine Mountain, Ga. passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at West GA Medical Center.
Mr. Johnson was born and raised in Bainbridge,  on May 24, 1953 to the late Hubert Franklin Johnson and Dorothy Benton Johnson.
He was a Service Manager and Diesel Mechanic for Ryder Truck Rental and Industrial Transit before his health no longer permitted.
Mr. Johnson was a hard worker that also enjoyed spending time with his family and deer hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores B. Johnson; sons, Glenn (Emily Davis) Johnson, and Russell “R.B.” (Jennifer) Johnson; grandchildren, Jaley Johnson, Kayla Mae Johnson and Rylee Grace Johnson; two sisters, Edith (Jordan) Tomicich of Quincy, Fla., and Agnes Brock of Climax; several other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held 7 pm Thursday, January 22, 2015 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Frank Barnes officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local Kidney Foundation in memory of Mr. Roger F. Johnson.
