 Mr. John Marion McDaniel, Sr. of Bainbridge died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Friday, June 19, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Patmos Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Alligood officiating. Interment will follow at Patmos Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with George Tennille, Frank Duke, Bobby Duke, Ricky Hicks, Frank Marvin McDaniel, David McDaniel, Clay McDaniel, Mark McDaniel, and Marve McDaniel serving as pall bearers. Visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2015, immediately following the service. Mr. McDaniel was a member of Patmos Free Will Baptist Church. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and was owner and operator of Mac and Mia Beauty Salon in Bainbridge.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette K. McDaniel of Bainbridge; one son, John M. McDaniel, Jr. of Bainbridge; three daughters, Kelly (Mike) Collins of Hendersonville, Tenn., Mia (Barry) Bishop of Whigham, and Jana (Mark) Crim of Birmingham, Ala.; six grandchildren, Hannah (Brett) Elliott, Mose Willis, Annie Collins, Mary Claire Collins, Ashley Crim and Anna Crim; and two sisters, Mildred Duke of Leary, Ga., and Chloe Ann Tennille of Leary.
