Early Friday morning, Bainbridge Public Safety responded to reports of gunshots at the Hutto-McIver Apartments on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and ultimately arrested three men.
BPS Investigator Chip Nix said that officers received permission to search Apartment 11-G after reports of illegal activity and found the three men, two of whom had outstanding warrants from other law enforcement agencies.
Nix said that Tchaikovsky Williams, of Bainbridge, was wanted on a parole violation warrant out of Texas and that Allen Calloway, of Blakely ,was wanted by Early County law enforcement.
Nix said that officers found about 13 bags of MDMA packaged for possible distribution, digital scales and a glock pistol that was reported stolen in Decatur County earlier this year.
Nix said that Calloway, who initially gave BPS false information, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a housing project and giving false name or information to police.
BPS also arrested Brandon Lamar Sasser, of Bainbridge, and charged him with possession of firearm or knife during the commission of a crime or criminal attempt and theft by receiving stolen property.
