Miss Bailey to wed Mr. Smith

Dr. and Mrs. Charles Clifford Bailey are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Evelyn Ash to Gary Spencer Smith.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Brock of Climax, Ga. and Mr. Charles Bailey and the late Mrs. Fredonia Bailey of Bainbridge.

Ms. Bailey graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2008. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia in May 2015 and is currently employed as a social worker with the Decatur County School System.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Catherine Brown and Mr. Gene Smith of Bainbridge. He is the grandson of Mrs. Catherine P. Byus and the late Frederick S. Pattison of West Virginia and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Smith of Bainbridge.

Mr. Smith graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2004. He received a Master’s Degree in Medical Sciences from Mercer University in May 2013. He is currently employed with Southern Medical Associates as a Physician’s Assistant, specializing in cardiology, in Tallahassee, FL.

The wedding is October 17, 2015 at Southwind Plantation.
