Graveside funeral services for Lowell Emory “Lyle” Dollar, Jr., 20, of Bainbridge, are at 3 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Decatur County, Ga. for family and friends. Elder Walter Todd, Phil Danner and Rev. Harold Thomaston will officiate. Lyle passed away in Athens, Ga., on Sunday, October 4, 2015.
Lyle was born on December 13, 1994, in Tallahassee, Fla., to Lowell Dollar and Robin Clark Dollar. He currently attended the University of North Georgia and planned to transfer to the University of Georgia at Athens. Lyle was known for his quick wit, ability to make one laugh and his great impersonations. He had a competitive spirit. He always tried to out hunt his dad, outwit his mom and still outwrestle his brother. Lyle was a giver, seldom asking for anything in return.
Survivors include: his parents, Lowell and Robin Clark Dollar of Bainbridge; brother, Jeff Morris of Charlotte, NC; special aunt and uncle, Jill and Luke Bell of Bainbridge; grandmother, Jean Sasser Beavans of Cairo; girlfriend, Julia McElreath of Thomasville, Ga.; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, J.C. and Grace Dollar; and an uncle, Colin Hank Clark.
