Coach Patrick Clark’s Bainbridge Middle School seventh grade Bearcats basketball team defeated the Thomas County Central Middle School seventh grade Yellow Jackets 47-28 Tuesday on the road concluding their season with an outstanding 7-1 record.

JVon Lee led the attack for the Bearcats with 20 points. Rashad Broadnax was also in double figures with 12.

Rounding out the Bearcats scoring column were Jamorris Mark Taylor with 6,

Dylan Worlds and Stanley Wells with 3 apiece, and Anthony Johnson, Quentin Clemmons, and Desmond McGriff all with 2.

“We had an outstanding season,” coach Clark said Tuesday morning. “The players learned the importance of playing team basketball and it showed throughout the season. All of our games involved team effort, which allowed every player to be an important contributor to the wins. I would like to thank all my players and their parents for allowing me the opportunity to coach these fine young men.”
