Bainbridge men arrested for cruelty to animals

Sadel Jackson, 19, was arrested by the Decatur County Sherriff’s Office on Monday and charged with five counts of animal cruelty and one count of dog fighting after DCSO received a tip that he was fighting dogs in his backyard on East Griffin Avenue.
Investigator Jason Williams received a tip from Jackson’s neighbor, who had filmed two videos of dog fighting involving Jackson.
The videos show black male, who was later identified as Jackson by the witness who filmed the video, engaging in dog fighting. She identified him by picking his photo out of a lineup.
According to the incident report, the first video shows Jackson holding a black dog on a leash with a brown dog lying on the ground. Jackson then allegedly allowed the black dog to attack the brown one without attempting to stop it.
In the second video, two dogs can allegedly be seen fighting while Jackson holds the leash of one of the dogs controlling him.
According to statement provided by the witness to DCSO officers she has observed at least seven dogs tied up in the yard and that Jackson is constantly bring news dogs and taking other away.
Terry Jackson was also arrested and charged with five counts of animal cruelty.
