A special reception for retired ‘The Post-Searchlight’ Sports Editor Joe Crine will be held Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Potter Street Community Center.

The community is welcome to come chat with and thank Crine for his 46 years of dedicated service to the Bainbridge community.

Having written thousands of stories of Decatur County youth throughout his long tenure, Crine made reporting the successes and efforts of local youth his No. 1 priority for four and a half decades.

Refreshments will be served.
