Miss Bardwell to wed Mr. Ragan in November

Miss Alyssa Leigh Bardwell, daughter of Scott Bardwell of Tuscaloosa, Ala. and Donna Reynolds, of Bainbridge, is engaged to wed Richard Palmer Ragan, son of Rick and Karen Ragan of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert and Joyce Lodge of Brinson, and the late Gene and Sylvia Bardwell of Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Miss Bardwell is a 2012 graduate of Bainbridge High School, holds a degree in Psychology from The University Georgia and is a graduate student at UGA, where she is studying Public Health in Health Policy and Management.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Palmer Rich and the late Sibyl Rich, and of the late Charles and Ruth Ragan, all of Bainbridge.

He is a 2010 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University, where he majored in Construction Management. He is employed as a project engineer with Landmark Properties Construction in Athens, Ga.

The wedding is planned for November 19 at 4 p.m. at Shiloh Farms, Tallahassee, Fla., where the reception will follow. Invitations have been sent.
