Phillip Lee Dilbeck was born December 17, 1958, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, the son of Eugene Dilbeck and Lula Mae Ellis Dilbeck. Phillip moved back to the Faceville Community, the place he considered home, four months ago from Oklahoma and was of Pentecostal faith.
Phillip loved to tinker, laugh and maybe even tell an “off color” joke. He could fix most anything but especially enjoyed working on cars. Occasionally he would take a break to hunt or fish and it has been reported that he would continue to tinker even then. He found joy spending time with his children and cooked with them often. It has been said that Phillip’s children were his life. He was best known for his famous chocolate gravy recipe.
Survivors include his children, Danielle Riddle and her husband, Barron, of Bainbridge, Ga., Jessica Dilbeck of Miami, FL, Ashley Reynolds and her husband, Jeremiah, of Virginia, and Austin Dilbeck of Altus, Oklahoma; and his two grandchildren, Summer Lee and Christopher James. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents.
