Carolyn Williams Kincaid, 68, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be at West Bainbridge Cemetery.

Carolyn Ann Williams was born June 14, 1948, in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Clifton James “Dud” Williams and Eunice Estelle McCalvin Williams. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1966. Carolyn retired from Memorial Hospital and was a member of Covenant Christian Church.

Many will remember “Miss” Carolyn as the registration clerk for many years at Memorial Hospital. For the past several years she enjoyed her part-time employment with local attorney Harold Lambert. She loved people and always extended a kind hand to those in need. Some were fortunate enough to receive gifts from her passion for crocheting. “Miss” Carolyn always kept a stockpile of afghans and blankets for those special occasions. She was an avid sports fan enjoying the Georgia Bulldogs, the Atlanta Braves and NASCAR. In her spare time, “Miss” Carolyn documented special times and events by scrapbooking.

Survivors include her children, Kimberly Kincaid and Casey Kincaid, both of Bainbridge; her siblings, Peggy Williams Stout and Steven Williams, also of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Hayden Kincaid and Shay Glover; her extended and loving family including: her mother-in-law, Polly Kincaid; the father of her children, Norman Kincaid; her sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Jack Coffey, all of Grady Co., Ga.; nineteen first cousins and numerous nieces and nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
