If you’ve got a camera, then hit us with your best shot! We’re looking for your best digital photos of rural living—the special people and places and things to do that make life here in southwest Georgia special.

The 2017 Southwest Georgia Farm Credit Rural Living Photo Contest is now underway through August 31.  Photos will be judged in four categories:

1. Kids and Nature

2. Life on the Farm

3. At Home in the Country

4. Rural Landscapes (no people, just gorgeous shots of the land!)

“There’s no doubt that over the years, the photos we’ve received have portrayed a slice of life unique to southwest Georgia,” said Liz Nogowski, Chief Marketing and Administrative Officer at Southwest Georgia Farm Credit. “Our part of America—with our farms and families—provides an excellent backdrop to capture some terrific photos.”

Winning photos will be used in the 2018 Southwest Georgia Farm Credit calendar and others will be featured in Wiregrass Land & Living magazine.  Awards will be given for the top three photos in each category at $100, $50, and $25.  A Grand Prize of $150 will be awarded for best overall photo.

All photos must be horizontal/landscape orientation and be taken in one of the 21 counties comprising our association territory.
