The Grace Christian Academy girls and boys cross-country teams competed in the GICAA Division-1 Southern Region Meet at Liberty Hill Ranch in Milner on Thursday afternoon.

The Varsity boys team captured third place in the region, just a few points behind Sherwood Christian Academy, and clinched a berth to the state meet next Saturday, Oct. 28 in Macon. 

Special congratulations to Wyatt Carpenter for finishing 7th overall and earning All-Region honors. 

Other top finishers were Gabe Parker (12th overall) and Daniel Jones (19th overall). 

GCA Cross Country Coaches, Rich and Dorinda Cox, are very proud of each of our runners as they set a new personal best time or was within seconds of their best time.
