It is with great enthusiasm that we, the United Pastors Serving People, invite each and everyone to unite on one accord for an evening of prayer on January 29, 2018 at 6 o’clock pm. The Community Prayer Service will be held at 1st African Baptist Church located at 515 Webster Street Bainbridge, Georgia. Pastor Spencer Wilson is the Pastor.  This is a public event and everyone is invited to attend whether you are a ministry leader, lay person, or you, like us recognize the need for prayer.

United Pastors Serving People is a local organization founded by Bishop Kelvin Wells, Sr., Pastor Randall Hines, and Minister Candace Brown. We are an organization of Christian pastors and ministers who endeavor to unite and serve the community in time of need. We strive to be a catalyst for positive change by spreading Christian love to all people. We have taken note of several recent tragic and unexpected deaths in our local community. We are all aware of the recent tragedies across this great nation such as the Texas church shootings, the Las Vegas mass shooting, the wildfires and mudslides of California, as well as mall shootings in Tennessee.

We have also recognized the financial struggles, health concerns, unstable weather patterns, along with many other burdensome and grievous trials affecting our neighbors. It is our mission to remind all people of God’s word concerning His answer to the underlying cause of these events. 2 Chronicles 7:14 declares, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” We firmly believe the word of God. We believe that prayer and obedience to God are the keys to overcoming today’s issues.

During the Community Prayer Service we will hear from Director of Public Safety Jerry Carter on community safety. Sgt. David Cutchin will address the Kids N Kops program, and Decatur County Board of Education board member, Mr. Kelvin Bouie will bring awareness to school safety and classroom preparedness. Our prayer leaders will be Pastor Cleveland Sanders of Antioch M.B. Church, Pastor Constance Hunter of God’s Will Deliverance Outreach Ministry, Pastor Tamorris Baulkman of New Beginnings Ministry & Shiloh M.B. Church, Pastor Bobby Daniels of  Decatur County Holiness Deliverance Church, Pastor Jimmy Thomas of New Faith Life Ministry, Dr. Corene J. Green of Prophetic Kingdom Ministries, Elder Lamar Sweet of Kingdom Discipleship Ministries, and Bishop Kelvin Wells, Sr. of Christ Tabernacle of the Living Word Church & Greater Bethel M.B. Church. Music will be provided by Pastor Earl Hallman and the CT/GB Mass Choir.

The Community Prayer Service is a clarion call to our citizens to pray. Please join us during this occasion of prayer.
