Funeral services for Louise Monroe Vines, 91, of Thomasville, Ga., are at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, Ga.. Rev. Ricky Whitley, Rev. Johnny Cooper, and Rev. Harold Thomaston will officiate. Interment will be in Attapulgus Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Vines passed away at Camellia Gardens of Life Care in Thomasville, on April 3, 2018.
Active pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Mrs. Vines was born on October 14, 1926, in Sale City, Ga., to the late John Russell Monroe and Molly Cordelia Walters Monroe. She was married to Rev. E. T. Vines, who preceded her in death in 1989. She was a retired nurse. She was a member of Pineland Baptist Church in Thomasville.
Survivors include: daughters, Cherie Bishop of Thomasville, Pam Coleman of Thomasville; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Vines of Attapulgus, Ga.; grandchildren, Lisa Johnson (Marty) of Fargo, Ga., Stephen Vines, Jr. (Barbara) of Attapulgus, Ga., Chuck Bishop (Jackie) of Thomasville, Richard Laye of Kansas City, Mo., David Laye (Kianna) of Pensacola, Fla., Randy Vines of Jacksonville, NC, Tabatha Adcock (Mark) of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Ashley Johnson of Bainbridge, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Clay, Coale and Eli Johnson, Cassie Gibson (Jeremy), Graycie, Brynlee and Tiffin Laye, Landon Vines, Daniel Johnson (Michelle), Lee Johnson (Laura), Alicia and Randy Hatcher; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; her son, Steve Vines; grandchild, Lynn Bishop; and two sisters and one brother.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
