Cunningham speaks to Lions Club about recycling

Stacey Cunningham, who moved to Bainbridge in 2015 to start Smith Company Recycling located at 1009 Avenue C at the Decatur County Industrial Park, updated the Bainbridge Lions Club Wednesday on her education and business background.
“I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and I received my business degree from the University of Kansas,” Cunningham said in opening her remarks. “I lived in South Florida for 16 years where I owned a precious metal recycling company. I moved to Bainbridge in 2015 to start Smith Company Recycling. I am currently on the Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce board of directors and the board of the Bainbridge Rotary Club.”
Cunningham further told the Lions Club members that her company currently recycles copper. aluminum, brass, automotive scrap, batteries, wire, junk cars and all types of scrap metal.
Lion Jim Beck, who sponsored Cunningham’s visit to the club, thanked her and her firm for what he called their dedication to Bainbridge, Decatur County and their environmental needs.
