Bainbridge, GCA perform well at Cougar Invitational X-C meet

Bainbridge and Grace Christian Academy traveled to the Cougar X-C Challenge in Tallahassee last week and put up some solid results.
The varsity Bearcats came in 12th place and the varsity Lady Cats came in 17th place. The varsity Cougars took 13th place while the Lady Cougars claimed 18th place.
Leading the way for Bainbridge was Stokes Moore with a time of 19:36.20. Behind him was Andru Matthews with a time of 22:06.90, Aiden Matthews with a time of 22:11.90, Landon Watts with a time of 22:12.70, Joe Emmons with a time of 22:34.40, David Long with a time of 23:13.40, Jared Davis with a time of 23:27.10.
Titus Porters finished in 23:48.30, Ashton Matthews posted a time of 23:51.30, Hunter Harris came in at 24:03.00, Angel Guzman came in at 24:03.50, Tom Emmons came in at 24:07.80, Johnathon Farrington with a time of 24:21.80, Hunter Matthews came in at 25:00.70, John Willis Maples clocked in at 25:38.70, Jordan Davis came in at 26:07.30, Partik Patel posted a time of 28:40.90, and Haydn Martin clocked in at 31:38.60.
For the Lady Cats, Viviana Schuyler took sixth place overall with an outstanding time of 21:27.20. Sara Matthews finished in 33:54.80, Kayla Braswell clocked a 34:43.50, Katelyn Miller came in at 35:04.70, Makayla Ingram came in at 35:31.70 and Olevia Diaz posted a time of 36:58.10.
Bainbridge coach Ridge Harper said the teams did very well.
“They really exceeded any expectations I had, and I think the kids were very pleased,” said Harper.
For the GCA Cougars, Wyatt Carpenter led the way with a time of 19:37.80. Jack Holden came in at 21:10.80, Daniel Jones clocked in at 21:0.70, Chasen Wood clocked in at 22:20.50, Jackson Davis posted a 24:54.30, Jeb Smith came in at 26:27.00 and Garrett Donalson clocked in at 36:15.80.
Lilah Widner led the way for the GCA Lady Cougars with a time of 31:53.50. Callie Widner was shortly behind her with a time of 32:29.00. Abigail Anderson clocked a 34:16.70, Emelia Woodrum came in at 35:39.10 and Brooke Tobin came in at 37:15.70.
