Early this week members of the Southwest Georgia Photography Club are busy hanging their best photo works at the Firehouse Gallery in preparation for their fall exhibit that opens with a free public reception Thursday, November 1.

Nine of the members have contributed entries showing their best shots taken while on vacation trips, ventures into nature or family , to name a few categories.

The public is invited to attend from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and see the eclectic assortment of subjects caught through the camera’s eye.

The reception will include hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

The show will remain open on weekends and Fridays through November 11.
