The Angel Tree Program, along with the Red Kettle Campaign, is one of The Salvation Army’s highest-profile Christmas efforts. Thousands of disadvantaged children across Georgia will experience the joy of opening presents on Christmas morning thanks to the generous donors and volunteers who support the Angel Tree Program.

“The Angel Tree program provides toys and clothing to children” said Karon Elwell, Administrative Assistant, for The Salvation Army in BAINBRIDGE. “When individuals and businesses chose an Angel to adopt, they’re helping us deliver the message of Christmas to those in need.”

“We are grateful for the generous support from our community for working alongside The Salvation Army to provide a joyous Christmas to our neighbors in need,” said Director, Merreann McDonald.

Angels will be available for adoption UNTIL December 11th at the Bainbridge Service Center at 600 S. Scott Street. Last year, 95 children were served through the Angel Tree Program in Bainbridge. This year, The Salvation Army expects to have 150 children enrolled in the program.

Volunteers are needed throughout December to help manage the Angel Tree Program and work to sort and distribute the gifts received.
