Bainbridge baseball drops region game to Harris Co.

Bainbridge (2-3) got off to the right start last Friday against Harris County, but a steady Tiger offense got the job done to beat the Bearcats 5-1.
Bainbridge scored a run in the first inning, but the Tigers put a run on the board in the third inning, two runs in the fourth inning, and another run in each of the fifth and sixth innings.
Mike Conder, Nolan Barr and Conner Poitevent each recorded a hit for the Bearcats.
Colton Harrell started on the mound for Bainbridge, going 4 innings and striking out 5 while allowing 1 earned run. Jackson McCullough came in after that to strike out another 3 and allow another earned run. Nolan Barr capped off the evening, recording a strikeout for the final out of the inning.
Bainbridge is scheduled to play Marianna, Florida, on the road Wednesday and will host Warner Robins on Friday. First pitch is at 5 p.m.
