Cloud Livestock Facility host Decatur/Mitchell County Hog Show

The Decatur/Mitchell County Hog Show was held on Saturday, February, 19th at the Cloud Livestock Facility at 5pm. There were over 25 exhibitors that showed over 40 hogs in the show representing Decatur and Mitchell Counties. The judge was John Althamus from Central Illinois. The Grand Champion Overall Market Hog was exhibited by Jaxon Haire from Mitchell County 4H. The Reserve Champion Overall Market Hog was driven by Carson Lynn of Bainbridge FFA. The 3rd Overall Market Hog Champion was exhibited by Scott Ross Hayes of Decatur 4H. The Pre Club Showmanship winner was Preston Day of Decatur County 4H, the Junior Showmanship Winner was Macy Lynn of Decatur County 4H, the Intermediate Division Showmanship Winner was Preston Lynn of Decatur County 4H and the Senior Division Showmanship Winner was Bo Holton of Mitchell County 4 H.
This was the first year that Decatur and Mitchell Counties combined local pig shows, we are hoping to continue combining counties and look forward to having more of our smaller counties join in the future.
