Sandra Cooke Smith, age 86, of Fayetteville, went to be with the Lord on April 14th, 2022. She was born in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late Floyd Cooke and Zoie Catledge Cooke. She was a dedicated member of Community Bible Church in Senoia, Ga. Previously a member of Riverdale First Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Bainbridge. Sandra loved her hummingbirds and her family. Sandra is preceded in death by her husband Rayford B. Smith of 66 years, her parents, Floyd Cooke and Zoie Catledge Cooke, two brothers, William T. Cooke and E. Floyd Cooke and her grandparents Mr and Mrs W J Catledge Sr. She is survived by her sister Julia M Cooke of Bainbridge, daughters, RayAnn Smith of Fayetteville; Peggy Jackson (Bill) of Fayetteville; and Sandy Horton of Fayetteville. She is survived by her grandchildren, Steven (Lauren) Jackson of Marietta; Clay (Matt) Jackson of Washington, D.C.; Lacey (Chris) Skinner of Pulaski, Va.; Julia Horton of Fayetteville. Great grandchildren, Eric Skinner of Pulaski, Va., and Mason and Hannah Jackson of Mariettta. A celebration of life was held at 2:00 p.m. on April 30, 2022, at Community Bible of Senoia at 2325 Luther Bailey Rd, Senoia, Ga, 30276 with Rev. Brooks Everett officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations to Community Bible Church or a charity of your choice be made instead.
