Local middle schooler Anniston Brown recently made a milestone achievement in her sports career. Brown, a level 8 gymnast, competed in the USA Gymnastics Georgia State Championship in Cartersville on April 2. Pitted against the rest of the state’s level 8 gymnasts, Brown metaled in three of four events, and finished with an overall score of 35.725. This placed her in the state Top 10, and earned her a place on the state team. She will go on to compete in USAG Regionals on April 29, in Greensboro, North Carolina.
