Mr. Johnny Wayne Robinson, age 73, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia.  A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, Georgia.  The Rev. Tim Harrell will officiate.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service. 

Johnny Wayne Robinson was born November 17, 1949, in Jacksonville, Florida.  He was raised by loving adoptive parents, Walter Robert Robinson and Mattie Lou McCarty Robinson.   After graduation from Bainbridge High School, Bainbridge, Georgia, Johnny proudly served in the United States Army.   He served his community through the Bainbridge Jaycees where he was a past president.  Retired from Southwest Georgia Oil as a Dispatcher/Salesman, he enjoyed delivering for Cairo Auto Supply.  Johnny was a life member of V.F.W. Post 4904.  He was an avid Dawg fan.  Win or lose, he was a supporter of UGA football.  Johnny loved his family deeply.  He has many friends who will deeply miss him. 

Johnny Wayne Robinson is survived by his children, Stacey Robinson (Leslie) of Port St. Joe, Florida and Jeff Robinson (Mandy) of Whigham, Georgia, and his grandchild, Marley Robinson of Whigham.  He was preceded in death by his parents, birth mother Catherine Cox, and sister Sandy Johnson.
