Members of the Chamber of Commerce gathered at the office of First & Main Real Estate Wednesday morning to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This ceremony corresponded with First & Main’s one-year anniversary since arriving in Bainbridge.

“This is wonderful, the Chamber would like to say congratulations,” Chamber President Karen Tobin said.

“We’re so thankful that we’re in Bainbridge, we love it here,” said Lacy Shepard, owner and Broker of First & Main. Shepard said that things had simply been so busy since opening last year, she hadn’t had the time for a ribbon cutting.

Originally from Miller County, Shepard has had family from Bainbridge, and has worked real-estate in the area for years. She stated that business has been good over the past year. “We’re just super happy to be here, and love everybody here,” she said. “The town is amazing.”
