Steven Gregory Rentz was born October 11, 1965, in Bainbridge, GA. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1984, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Greg was a salesman at Burkins Chevrolet in Jacksonville.
Known as the life of the party, Greg never met a stranger and had an unmatched sense of humor. He had a gentle soul but was quick with his one-liners. Greg always marched to the beat of his own drum. Once he made a trip to California, just because. He knew cars and clothes, fully evidenced by being dressed to the nines in a nice ride 24/7/365. Those closest to Greg will remember his thoughtful gestures on birthdays, which he never forgot.
Survivors include his son, Tyler Rentz (Maitlyn) of Bainbridge; his grandchild, Kohen; his parents, Steve & Pat Rentz; his brother, Danny Rentz (Candace); his niece & nephew, Hunter Rentz and Ashton Rentz; and a host of extended family. Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin & Doris Rentz.
