Charles Jason Pollock, 47, of Camilla died Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 6 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.  Brother Daryl Adams will officiate.

Jason was born September 22, 1976 in Decatur County.  He is met in Heaven by his father, Charles Larry Pollock;  his grandfather, Carroll Singleton;  his grandparents, Leo and Rena Mae Pollock and Albert and Irene Smith.  Jason graduated from Bainbridge High School, where he was a Bearcat athlete.  He was also an avid UGA fan.  Jason was branch manager at Labor Finders of Bainbridge. 

Survivors include his son, Carter Jase Pollock;  parents, Dennis and Debbie Smith;  grandmother, Margie “Nanny” Singleton;  four sisters, Suzanne Meredith (Robbie), Jessie McCormick (John Michael), Tiffany Smith, and Tabetha Smith;  nephews, Colby Nix, Dalton McCormick, Jacob McCormick, Waylon McCormick, and Walter McCormick;  his life-long best friend, Jason McCutcheon;  many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m., Wednesday, before services, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Vada. Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
