Last Thursday, the First National Bank Travel Club (FNBTC) held a meeting at the Bainbridge Country Club to discuss upcoming trips. FNBTC partners with the travel organization Collette Tours to plan the trips.
Lorenda Smith, Senior Vice President of Retail and Marketing at the First National Bank, addressed the crowd about a line of trips for next year. Jack Brinson, Colette’s District Sales Manager, shared a presentation about the upcoming trips to Spain, Greece, Hawaii, and the Islands of New England.
The first adventure will be in Spain. The tourist group will visit areas in Málaga like the Picasso Museum, Marbella, Madrid, Setenil de las Bodegas, and many other areas.
The next trip will visit Greece, and tour destinations like Athens, Corinth, The Acropolis, Mars Hill, and additional places, as well as go on a three-night cruise. Next, they will take a Hawaiian trip and view the natural beauty and historic sites of Waikiki Beach, Pearl Harbor, Iolani Palace, Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, and many more areas. Finally, they will visit the Islands of New England in Providence and tour places and events like a lobster trap pull demonstration and cruise, with other activities including a walking tour of art and architecture, and visits to the RISD Museum, Plymouth Rock, Cape Cod, Nantucket, and others.
People who are interested in going on these trips do not have to be First National Bank members. They are for anyone who’s willing to travel and have a good time, as Smith stated, “We saw a desire for senior adults and other people wanting to be able to travel as a group with comfort, price point, destination, and have somebody plan it for them. So, it was kind of the perfect gift for our customers.”
