Last week, the Southern Philosophy Brewery introduced a Boobie Brew to support Breast Cancer Awareness. The Boobie Brew is created using kettle sour ale fermented with Belgian house strain, and conditioned with sour cherry, strawberry, pink guava, and key lime. The drink is created using all-natural ingredients. The drink is $1 per pint, and all the proceeds are donated directly to Memorial Hospital and Manor to be used to help offset the price of mammograms. Gallagher Dempsey, owner of Southern Philosophy Brewery exclaimed, “We definitely love to give back to the community. I love the idea that was brought about by the hospital. We want to support the hospital. We thought it was cool making pink beer for Breast Cancer Awareness.” The Boobie Brew will be sold until the end of October. So, go try a glass before it’s too late.
