Alice Faye (Stokes) Peters (78), a resident of Bainbridge and longtime resident of Tallahassee, and a 1964 Leon High graduate, passed away on Christmas morning, December 25, 2024.
She is survived by her husband Walton Peters, her sister Carolyn Stokes, her three children, Michael K Fitzgerald (Lisa), Marcie K Mortimer, and Matthew B Mortimer (Karey), her stepdaughter Starla J (Peters) Panela (Frank), nine grandchildren (Sheridan, Shannon, Noland, Bridgid, Avery, Olivia, Veronica, Lucas, Logan), and five great-grandchildren (Donny, Prince, Angel, Brooklyn, Lively).
Funeral service will be held at the Strickland-Ferrell family cemetery on Beth Page Road on Saturday, January 4th, at noon. Refreshments and a gathering to follow the service will be held at the Beth Page church Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the ‘Beth Page fund’ to rescue the 100+ year old Beth Page church.
