Ward Cole has been named as the University of Georgia’s Tifton Campus 2008-2009 student ambassador representative.

Student ambassadors represent the Tifton Campus through leadership among their peers, community service in the Tifton area and recruiting potential students to the Tifton academic programs.

Cole, agricultural education major from Bainbridge, was chosen to represent the Tifton campus as one of seven student ambassadors. He completed a three-panel interview process, has shown leadership among his peers and excels in his academic achievements.

Cole plans to graduate from UGA in December 2009 and teach agriculture to middle school or high school students.
