Funeral service for Beatrice “Bea” White Johnson, 88, of Princeton, Ind., formerly of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Monday, May 3, in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Calvin Arnold officiating.

Interment followed in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville with Rob Smith, Perry Miller, Edward Fiveash, Willard Mims, Greg Mims and Jared Fiveash serving as active pallbearers.

Born May 2, 1921, in Dothan, Ala., Mrs. Johnson died on Friday, April 30, 2010, at Deaconess Hospice Care Unit in Evansville, Ind.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville, Ga., and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Rufus Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Lassiter of Princeton, Ind.; a grandson, Jamie Miller of Petersburg, Ind.; two great-grandchildren as well as numerous cousins.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
