Erma Livingston

Graveside services for Erma Wiley Livingston, 88, of Jakin, were held Wednesday, March 17, at Ashford City Cemetery in Ashford, Ala., with the Rev. James Scarborough officiating.

Active casketbearers were Ray Mathis, Larry Frith, Phillip Williams, Steven Houston, Bruce Temples and Ricky McGee.

Born Sept. 22, 1921, in Dade County, Fla., Mrs. Livingston died in Donalsonville, Ga., on March 14, 2010, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Livingston was a homemaker and also worked with her late husband, Cliff Livingston, in the produce business for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Callie Childree Hicks; her husband, Cliff Livingston; one son, Don Wiley; and two daughters, JoAnn Helms and Carolyn Jones.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Wiley of Mabank, Texas; a daughter, Pat Temples of Donalsonville, Ga.; a sister, Dina Frith of Dothan, Ala.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
