Funeral services for Sharon Moore Haire, 56, of Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Dawson officiating.

Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Randy Blocker, Lamar Barbree, Johnny Barber, Wiley Griffin, Paul Fryer and Wayne Lambert serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home.

Born Sept. 14, 1953 in Bainbridge, Mrs. Haire died on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Mrs. Haire was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1971. She received her Secretarial Certificate from Georgia Southwestern University and formerly worked with the law firm of Floyd and Lambert. She was a deputy clerk for the Decatur County Clerk of Court and attended West Street Baptist Church.

Mrs. Haire was preceded in death by her father, William J. Moore.

Survivors include her mother, Sarah Smith Moore of Brinson; her husband of 21 years, Gregory V. Haire of Bainbridge; her children, Dusty Haire, Jamey Haire and Sandy H. Heard, all of Bainbridge; her sister, Vickie Byers of Brinson; and two grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
