Funeral services for Thomas Jackson Bryant, 58, of Jakin, Ga., will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, Ga., with Dr. Calvin Arnold officiating.
Interment to follow in Jakin City Cemetery in Jakin, Ga., with Brian Beal, Aaron Beal, Adam Beal, Robert Allen Jones Jr., Erik Phillips and Chet Holland serving as active pallbearers.
Born May 22, 1951, in Jacksonville, Fla., Mr. Bryant died at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala., on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009.
He worked for U-Haul Corp. of America as a welder/fabricator. Mr. Bryant was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Patricia Bryant of Jakin, Ga.; a daughter, Carrie Johnson of Jakin, Ga.; a grandson, Thomas Bryant Johnson of Jakin, Ga.; two sisters, Vicki Phillips of Albany, Ga., and Janis Jones of Gordon, Ala.; a brother-in-law, Tim Beal of Baxter, Fla.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
