Funeral services for Louise Hodges Rentz, 85, of Tallahassee, Fla., will be held Friday, July 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Thomasville Rd. Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Fla. Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home in Tallahassee.

Born in River Junction, Fla. on Feb. 14, 1924, Mrs. Rentz passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009.

Mrs. Rentz was a member of Thomasville Rd. Baptist Church for more than 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 61 years, Morris Ethan Rentz.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara “Bobbie” Gittings, of Jacksonville, Fla., Carolyn Friedman and Linda Templeton, both of Tallahassee; one sister, Viola Milton of Columbus, Ga.; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Bevis Funeral Home in Tallahassee was in charge of funeral arrangements.
