Memorial services for Thomas Lamar Kelly, 70, of Tallahassee, Fla., will be held Saturday, June 13, at 10:30 a.m. at the home of Corey and Anna Hall, 2529 Old Whigham Road, Bainbridge, with family and friends speaking.
Born June 13, 1938, in Decatur County, Mr. Kelly died May 7, 2009, at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
A native of Bainbridge, Mr. Kelly was a carpenter who lived in Tallahassee for many years. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Lee Thomas Swain.
Survivors include his wife, Phylis Highsmith Kelly of Tallahassee, Fla.; three daughters, Ava Swain, Elizabeth Kelly and Rebecca Bryant, all of Tallahassee, Fla.; three sons, Guy Kelly of Climax, Greg Kelly and Thomas Kelly, both of Tallahassee, Fla.; three sisters, Helen Strain of Climax, Betty Martin of Bainbridge and Frances Hatton of Brinson; three borther, Winston Earl Kelly and James Franklin Kelly of Bainbridge, and Gerald Jones of Tallahassee; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
