A memorial service for William A. “Billy” Hester of Attapulgus will be held Saturday, May 23, at 9:30 a.m. at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Hurley officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Born Jan. 6, 1945, in Bainbridge, Mr. Hester died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Hester was an offset pressman and had worked at Cape Canaveral, Walt Disney World, The Post-Searchlight and Ponder’s Printing. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Mr. Hester was preceded in death by his father, William Robert Hester; his mother, Martha Virginia Davis Hester, and his sister, Virginia Ann Hester.
Survivors include his brother, Robert L. “Bob” Hester of Attapulgus.
